With audio loops, playing and experimenting can be done freely until you hit upon the perfect set of music beats.

And lastly, you have to create midi drum patterns which go well with the rest of the piece. You can use one set or pattern of notes or merge different sets. Anything can be done as long as it boosts rather than detracts from your work.

But sometimes, midi drum patterns aren’t a pattern at all. But rather, they’re comprised of a diverse collection of beats but used as repeating loops and acting as something related to a secondary tier of beat or melody.

To sum up: in creating your beats, always begin with building a convincing bass line to stand as your music’s foundation then strengthening it will evenly well-developed audio loops and one or more midi drum patterns.

Chances are, if you have decided to learn the guitar, you are wondering about what the best way is to learn the guitar. Is there a BEST way? So how will i find the best way?

When I was a kid, I wanted to play the guitar.  I thought it looked easy, and I wanted to try.  Why can’t I do that?  In The WORST way, I wanted to LEARN how to play!  You won’t believe this, but I got what I asked for!  Yup, you guessed it, I learned to play in the WORST way!  Oh Yeah, there is a WORST WAY!  and I found it!  Ever try to Teach YOURSELF?  BIG mistake!  I had a friend who was able to teach himself.  I thought he was pretty good, too.  So, I thought to myself, if he could do it, why couldn’t I?  So I began to try to teach myself, and it was a disaster!  I had no idea what I was doing, I was holding the guitar all wrong, couldn’t figure out how to get my left hand to bend right to be able to reach the strings for chords, and to be honest – it was just plain PAINFUL!  My friend was doing pretty well.  Welle enough that he could play for people as they walked by on the boardwalk.  They would throw money in his case!    NO WAY!  Well that made me even more determined to learn to play the guitar, now!  If he was able to figure it out, I should be able to, Right?  Wrong!

Wait! Couldn’t your friend teach you? People were giving him money, he must have been able to play.  Well, some people just can’t teach even if they know what they are doing.   He couldn’t help me.  He was not qualified to teach. But he did show me some chords.  What I ultimatly discovered as a result of this was that without disciplined, well thought-out lessons, it is simply IMPOSSIBLE to teach yourself how to play the guitar.    We’ve found the WORST WAY – Let’s see the BEST way!  Well, from my experience, the best way is through one-on-one, step-by-step lessons that are easy to follow and understand.  My friend did not have the patience to teach me in that way.  The truth is, not many instructors can.

So, then what should I do?  What is the best way to learn guitar then, since the only way to get that kind of attention is private personal instruction.  The best option, then is to find some very high quality video lessons that will give you the kind of attention you need, at a price that is affordable.  You can pause it, stop it, start it over, rreplay from the beginning, whatever you need to do.  Need to take a break, come back tomorrow – pick up wherre you left off – That’s the power of video lessons.  Not even a high-priced private teacher can handle that action!    With video, you don’t have to worry that your teacher isn’t up to it, or that you aren’t getting it.  Make sure you fully understand what you have learned before you press play on the next lesson.  Take your time, practice as much as you need.  Then procede at your own pace.

During the late nineties, musician, Sarah McLachlan, put together a female-centric summer festival that had the whole world buzzing. Named the Lilith Fair, this music experience was the first of its kind. McLachlan, among others, was sick of the lack of women performers at most summer concerts and so she decided to do something about it. The result was an instant success, which carried on for three years. Now, in the summer of 2010, a revival is underway.

Although the new lineup has yet to be revealed, a list of prior festival acts include Tracy Chapman, Fiona Apple, Joan Osmond and Lisa Loeb. With that kind of star power, it’s no wonder the tour was such a success. Current acts that would fit the bill include such newcomers as KT Tunstall and Colbie Caillat. There’s no doubt many younger female musicians were influenced by the concert and would be honored to play at the revival.

In prior festivals, there was a real community vibe. People wouldn’t just stand there and listen to the music; they’d interact with each other, sometimes performing themselves. It wouldn’t have been strange to see someone pull out a Takamine acoustic guitar while a small crowd circled around them. It was this kind of atmosphere that helped spread the word and drew large crowds to the event.

There are a lot negative stereotypes still floating around regarding the tour. Some people called it ‘Girlapalooza’ and others used even worse names. Probably because it was something new and different, people just didn’t understand it. Many just assumed the festival would be filled with women stepping off motorcycles with a black helmet in hand. At was very much not the case.

The tour not only made its impact musically, but there was many a fashion trend spotted and started on the festival grounds. Many attended with the idea that people were watching in mind. In fact, it’s more likely that many the audience would be wearing their best eye cream as opposed to sporting a biker jacket.

Those who were unable to attend the original tour might be inclined to think the audience was entirely female. This is not true. Although the acts were all women musicians, the crowd was quite diverse, which was proven through the sheer number of concert goers tallied over the summers.

Ten years after the original run of Lilith Fairs, there’s no doubt that a revival tour will be welcomed. Old fans can reminisce, while new music lovers can partake in a cultural phenomenon that they’ve heard stories about it.
