I'm in New York and trying to find a piano to practice on. Any ideas?

I thought mabye some music schools would let me, not not sure where they are.

there are lots of studios that would rent their piano and room. why dont u try buying a portable keyboard. try craigslist.org

I wouldn't think that any music schools would help you out. If you continue to have this kind of problem, traveling and need to practice, but that you have use of a pc, then I'm sure there are programs out there that you can do that practicing from your pc. Check the yahoo search engine for that program.

just keep walking. ul find a piano. I used 2 stop n the music shop 2 play when ever I was n the big city. If u know how 2 play the thing people will enjoy hearing ur music. If ur still playing mary had a little lamb u mioght consider something else.

Yes. Try the Y. It's a community centre with a community music department with free practice rooms and pianos. http://www.92y.org Talk to Misty in the 2nd floor music dept office.

If you're looking to practice for free, I'd try a local music store or a church, maybe even a nursing home. I'm sure that if you're wiling to get creative, you'll find some place that works for everyone. Good Luck!
